The Nuclear Transparency Inventory (NUTRI) tracks the transparency of nuclear arsenals worldwide. It is a project of the Non-Proliferation and Disarmament Programme at BASIC.

NUTRI offers factual summaries of the transparency policies and practices of all nuclear-armed states, using official government sources.

For all claims about the policies of a particular state, we provide links to official documents and sources, so all NUTRI data can be easily verified.

Our aim is to support policymakers, researchers, and civil society with a go-to source of data on what the nuclear-armed states disclose about their nuclear arsenals and related policies and facilities.

The project relies on nine separate surveys conducted and peer reviewed by independent experts. For more on how we collected and compiled the data, see the Methodology or FAQs pages.

NUTRI is funded through the generosity of Global Affairs Canada and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands. For any questions, contact the NUTRI project team, Dr Lyndon Burford or James Brady.
